Stephen did a great job with a very thorough inspection. Even though we planned on gutting the house he helped us find a number of critical issues with the home. I tend to be very hands on with inspections, asking lots of questions and watching the whole thing. He graciously let me follow along and learn as he worked.

Excellent inspector. We hired Steve Stauss to inspect a home we were in escrow to buy. Timing for inspections was super tight. He spent about 4 hours at the house, arranged radon and sewer scope tests, walked me through results and provided his opinion on the seriousness of various flaws, and provided a very detailed easy to follow report. I’ve hired several inspectors for house purchases over the course of time in different cities and so i know this inspector is top notch.
